Our plate heat exchangers come with mounting studs welded on the back. We use M5-0.8 studs for B3-12A models and M8-1.25 studs for all other sizes.
Recommended for:
Boilers, wood stoves, solar water heating, refrigeration, SVO conversions, Heat Pumps, Central Air Conditioning, Industrial Water Cooling, Oil Coolers and any application where heat transfer between two fluids is required.
Need help choosing a unit?
Generally speaking, the longer the heat exchanger is, the more efficient it will be. Adding more plates reduces pressure loss and adds some extra heat transfer. More width on a unit also reduces pressure loss and adds some heat transfer. Since plate heat exchanger utilize convection, it is better to add length than plates or width for heat transfer when the flow rates are low. (adding more plates or width reduces fluid velocity and thus, less convection)
